Thank you to London South East Colleges Orpington campus for hosting an excellent apprenticeships session. Students took part in CV and interview workshops and went through speed interview sessions with local employers from various industries.
Apprenticeships have been a huge success story locally and nationally. The government has invested heavily in them, and some 5.6 million people have been helped into them since 2010 in a wide range of sectors be it law, accountancy, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing or engineering.
Apprenticeships can be a fantastic start to a career, and with such high demand for vocational and technical skills in today’s jobs market, it’s an exciting time to consider it.
